Thank you for your interest in working with me to create your own special piece of art.

the commission process

1. Get Inspired

Check out my artworks in my portfolio, shop, and on Instagram. We can start a conversation about why you are drawn to each one and discuss what kind of painting you would like.

2. Fill out the questionnaire

Before I can create a piece that you love, I will need to gather some information from you through the questionnaire below. This will allow me to get a better understanding of your vision, requirements/constraints, and what you would like me to create for you. I will then follow up with a quote and/or additional questions via email. Please keep an eye out the next few days in your inbox and junk folder for an email from me!

3. Let's start creating something beautiful together

I will first send you color test/sketch after receiving the 50% deposit. You will be able to envision your final painting, and any number of revisions can be made during this process. 

4. Photo/Video Review

Once I begin creating your piece, I will send you in progress photos/videos to make sure the color, balance, mood, composition, and direction feel right to you. I will make any necessary adjustments as I communicate with you, sending more photos as your piece evolves.

5. Approval & Shipping

As the painting nears completion, I'll check in with you for approval. Based on your feedback, I'll add the finishing touches and send a final photo. Once everything is finalized, the final payment and shipping fee will be due. I will send you tracking information when the piece is heading to your way!

Commission Questionnaire

Before I can create a piece that you will love, I will first need to gather some information from you. This will allow me to get a better understanding of your vision, requirements or constraints, and what you would like me to create for you. The more information you give me, the better I can grasp your story and translate as an art, so please take your time and be thorough if you can! This questionnaire will serve as our starting point for the piece.

Conditions

By accepting the transaction of a 50% deposit, you automatically agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

  1. Every commission is handled with love, care, and as much clarity & transparency as possible. My goal is for you to be completely thrilled with your work. There is no obligation to purchase the painting if you aren't happy with the end result. 

  2. The price of a commission is generally an additional 20% from ready made piece to account for the added time spent communicating and the possible revisions. Shipping/delivery fee is not included and will be separately informed. 

  3. Once the 50% non-refundable deposit is submitted, I will start creating your commission.

  4. Revisions after starting the artwork can be made up to 3 times.

  5. Once begun, commissioned piece generally takes 2-4 weeks for completion, as long as you will reply to my request for a review in a timely manner. 

  6. Once the final invoice (50% of the total cost) is paid, all sales are final.

  7. Delay in creation or shipment may occur occasionally. In such case, I will inform you via email.

  8. All personal information will be kept private and confidential.

  9. Client may NOT use commissioned image(s) for commercial use without the consent of the artist.

  10. This is a reminder that you will receive a one-of-a-kind painting done by me, so no two pieces are exactly the same. I will be painting in my own style to breathe life into your piece.
