Petite Peony | 7" Hoop
 
I have the fondest memory of a beautiful peony bushes surrounding my son's preschool in spring. They were so full and voluptous, I was completely mesmerized. I decided to plant some of my own in my garden. It took a few years for them to fully develop, but in 2022, I finally saw some lovely flowers blooming. This piece was inspired by one of those earlier, petite and delicate blooms that brought me so much joy. It made me believe in my gardening skills and boosted my confidence.
