1" width, silk ribbon made from vintage japanese kimono
Hand torn to create beautiful raw edges, and wrapped in watercolor paper trimming. Each order comes with two34" ribbons. 
 
I've collected kimons over the past couple of decades, some are from my family members while others are from friends and antique stores. As I no longer find a way to utilize some of the kimonos I own as wearable garment, I chose to disassemble them and use as natural-fiber fabrics. 
 
The lining fabric used in high-end kimonos are excellent in quality and luxurious. The pink and the green have beautiful luster and smooth texture. The mauve has a crinkled texture (crepe-de-chin).

Perfect for floral displays, special events, heirloom crafting, gift wrapping, invitations, and anywhere else you would like to add meaningful detail.
